We built it for the kids who'd rather do anything than floss.
JolieSmile started at a bathroom sink — in the middle of a fight nobody was winning.
Toothbrush in one hand, a crying kid in the other.
Every parent knows the scene. The squirming, the tears, the closed-mouth screaming. And flossing? Forget it — it felt like wrestling an alligator. So most nights, we just… didn't. And the guilt piled up.
One small cavity. A scared kid. And a lesson we learned the hard way.
It turns out 8 in 10 cavities start between the teeth — exactly where a toothbrush never reaches, and exactly where no child will sit still for string floss. The result: pain for them, a costly filling for us, and a kid who now dreads the dentist.
Water flossers existed. None were actually made for kids.
The grown-up ones were too powerful, too big for little hands, and loud enough to scare a child off for good. The “kids” versions were just adult models with a sticker slapped on. Nothing was built around a child's mouth — or a child's patience.
Gentle, kid-safe, and actually fun.
Kid-safe pressure that's softer than string floss. A compact nozzle made for small mouths. A quiet motor for sensitive kids. And a 60-second routine that feels more like a game than a chore — so a 6-year-old can do it themselves, and actually want to.
