The 60 second routine that clears out the stinky bacteria hiding in the back of your tongue.
You do everything right. Tongue scraper, toothbrush, mouthwash, floss. And the smell still comes back. It's not your fault. Nobody ever told you where the problem really starts.

“I thought bad breath was just something that came with age. So glad I bought this, honestly it changed my life. I scrape my tongue, I brush three times a day, and none of it made a difference. I got this and my breath changed right away!!”
80 to 90% of bad breath starts inside the mouth, and a coated tongue is one of the leading causes. Everything you've tried stayed on the surface.
It's not you. It's your tools. (Even when you do everything right.)
A systematic review of the published work. Factors inside the mouth cause 80 to 90 percent of bad breath, and a coated tongue is named as one of the leading ones.
The authors measured the surface of the tongue. Where coating showed, the grooves between the bumps ran deeper. What sits down in them is what a scraper rides over.
Thirty people, four separate mornings. A tongue cleaner cut the smell producing gases by 42%, a scraper by 40%, a toothbrush by 33%. But the researchers could not detect a significant drop past 30 minutes in a single subject.
The bacteria sit inside a sticky matrix they build themselves. In the authors’ own words, it protects them against chemical and physical attack, and it makes the plaque hard to clear.
🔁Why it always comes back
You already scrape your tongue, and you're right, that's where most of the smell comes from. And it works. The gunk comes off and your breath smells better.
But you only got the ones on top. Under an hour later, the ones you missed build it right back, and the smell comes with it.
That isn't you doing it wrong. It's where the tool stops.
🪥Why a tongue scraper isn't enough
Your tongue isn't flat. It's like shag carpeting down there. Ever tried cleaning a shag carpet with a broom? You get the surface. What's packed down in there stays put.
And pushing harder makes it worse. A raw tongue gives that gunk even more to hold onto.
💧Why mouthwash alone does nothing
Down in those cracks, the bacteria are covered. They build a sticky shield over themselves. It has a name. Biofilm.
Researchers put a number on what that shield buys them. Under it, bacteria can hold out against an antimicrobial up to a thousand times better than the same bacteria out in the open.
Your mouthwash slides right over the top of it. It's not too weak. It just never reaches them.
💦What DeepDrive actually does
Your scraper gets the surface. Your mouthwash gets the surface. Neither one gets down where it counts.
So it was never about scraping harder. The question was how to get into those cracks, break that shield open, and get the mouthwash in right then.
That's what DeepDrive is. Its tip scrapes the white coating off the back of your tongue. In the same pass, the gentle jet pushes water and our tea tree mouthwash down into the cracks, right onto the bacteria. About a minute a day.
🎯A gentle mode built for the tongue
Water with pressure behind it is the only thing that gets down there. But your tongue is soft. Push too hard and you tear up the surface. Go too soft and it never gets in.
So we set the pressure for the tongue and nothing else. Most water flossers run up to 100 psi, because they're built for teeth. Ours is set to 40.
Over 12 weeks, the people who added a daily water flosser ended up with less mouth odor than at their own start. (Xu 2023, see the studies page.)
🧪Why you can't just use your own mouthwash
Two products, two different jobs.
A regular mouthwash was built to go in a cap and get swished. Pour it into a full tank of water and it's too watered down to do anything down in the cracks.
Ours is a concentrate, built for the tank. One dropper, then water. So once the tip has scraped that white layer open, the tea tree is already down there, on the bacteria.
⚡Two steps in one
Scrape, then rinse, and you've done two things at two different times. The scraper never opened the cracks, so by the time the mouthwash shows up the shield is still closed.
DeepDrive does both in the same pass: the tip scrapes, the jet brings the tea tree, on the same spot. That's the moment the bacteria are out in the open.
🌿Why tea tree
Cuts bad breath as well as the rinse dentists use. No staining in the trial.
Dentists treat chlorhexidine as the gold standard rinse for bad breath. In a double blind trial on 160 people, a tea tree rinse cut bad breath just as well. The researchers call the two “equally effective”.*
The catch with chlorhexidine is the stains. In a 2025 trial, 3 people out of 30 on chlorhexidine ended up with stained teeth. On tea tree: 0 out of 30.**
And everything in the bottle is natural. 100% natural ingredients.
*Srikumar and colleagues, Indian Journal of Pharmacology, 2022, read the study. **Mahapatra and colleagues, Dentistry Journal, 2025, read the study.
They say it takes about two months to lock in a new habit. Same thing on your tongue. It's the move repeated day after day that clears out the source of the smell. So we give you all that time. 60 seconds a day, for 60 days. Not convinced? We refund you, no questions asked.
What you get back
No more measuring the distance every time you open your mouth. You lean in, you laugh, you kiss, without thinking about it.
Talking to the people close to you without the knot in your stomach.
Getting close without holding your breath.
No more turning your head when you talk.

Frequently asked questions
Rarely. 80 to 90% of bad breath starts in the mouth, and a coated tongue is one of the leading causes. If the smell stays no matter what you do, see your dentist or doctor.
A brush cleans the surface of your teeth, and you keep the one you already have. But even when you run it over your tongue, it stays on top. It doesn't go down into the little grooves at the back, where the bacteria behind the smell live. DeepDrive’s tip scrapes that coating off, and its jet pushes the tea tree down into those grooves. The two go together: the brush for your teeth, the water flosser for your tongue.
A scraper skims the surface. It doesn't go down into the little grooves at the back, where the bacteria hide under the white coating. DeepDrive scrapes too, and in the same pass its jet pushes water and tea tree down into those grooves. Two steps in one.
No, and that is exactly the point. A regular water flosser is set up to blast plaque from between your teeth. It goes up to 100 psi. Your tongue doesn't need that.
The tongue tip runs at 40 psi in DeepDrive mode. Strong enough to get into the little grooves at the back, gentle enough not to hurt you.
Mouthwash on its own stays on the surface. It slides over the film and doesn't go down into the little grooves. DeepDrive’s tip scrapes that film off, and in the same pass its jet pushes the tea tree all the way down, onto the bacteria. The right ingredient, in the right place, at the right moment.
Our tea tree concentrated mouthwash. The concentrate comes with your order.
- Squeeze the dropper, then empty one full dropper into the tank.
- Fill the rest with water and clip the tank back on.
- Clip on the tongue tip and pick DeepDrive mode.
- Run the tip over your tongue for 60 seconds, from the back to the front, then spit. Rinse the tank out when you’re done.
Why a concentrate? A regular mouthwash poured into a full tank comes out far too weak to do anything. Ours is a concentrate, made to be mixed with the water in the tank.
The key ingredient is tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia). Everything in the bottle is natural: 100% natural ingredients.
- A tea tree rinse matched chlorhexidine on bad breath. Chlorhexidine is the antibacterial rinse dentists treat as the gold standard. In a double blind trial on 160 people, the authors found the two “equally effective” (Srikumar and colleagues, Indian Journal of Pharmacology, 2022).
- No staining in the trial. In a 2025 trial, 3 people out of 30 on chlorhexidine got stained teeth. On tea tree, 0 out of 30 (Mahapatra and colleagues, Dentistry Journal, 2025).
Used as directed, yes: one dropper diluted in the tank water, and you spit it out. Don’t swallow it. For adults only. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.
If your tongue feels sensitive, start with half a dropper. If you’re allergic to tea tree oil, don’t use it. If you’re pregnant, on medication, or unsure, ask your dentist.
